While hiking through Great Bear Farm in Upstate NY I ended up on the shore of the Oswego River hoping to capture some fall scenery, however it was a rather overcast afternoon. As I looked at the scene it was definitely more gloomy than colorful and black and white just seemed to fit this image and convey what I was feeling on the shore. Gloomy, yet, quiet and peaceful.
Welcome to my gallery!! I am an Upstate NY based photographer who tries to capture the essence of landscapes, nature, and cityscapes with an eye for detail. Specializing in the scenic beauty of the Adirondack Mountains, Thousand Islands, Finger Lakes of New York State as well as the Central New York area, where I am from! When travelling, I will generally have my camera with me so that I can capture images from across the country with scenes such as cityscapes from Baton Rouge or Cleveland along the waterfront, to the Mountains of the Pacific Northwest!
