A bull elk is bugling towards a cow elk just out of the image. She had little interest in him, however he continued his pursuit of her. This was a very frosty morning just after sunrise, though the sun had not reached the valley where this elk was yet. What I love about this image is the contrast between the frost covered grass and the elk plus the little shrubbery on the left side all going to show this bull in his environment.

Specializing in the scenic beauty of the Adirondack Mountains, Thousand Islands, Finger Lakes of New York State as well as the Central New York area, where I am from!
