Artist's Description
Looking thru the trees to the setting sun. This image was taken on the campus of the State University of New York at Oswego this spring. The length of the shadows is what drew me to this scene.
About Rod Best
Welcome to my gallery!! I focus mainly on Landscape Photography, but I also love many other types of scenes, such as Cityscapes, Sunrise/Sunsets and Wildlife. I really love getting outdoors in all seasons and experiencing the beauty around us, which is one of the reasons that I love New York State. We have such a variety of seasons to get outdoors and enjoy!! If I had to pick a favorite season, it would be Fall, hands down, with Winter being a close second! Not only do I love making/creating images, i love processing them to bring out the best, and then of course sharing them with all of you! Photography is a lot like the game of golf, no matter how well you shoot on any given day you could always do better. The same holds...

In addition to the banner, I am adding this more permanent recognition of its FEATURE on the homepage of A TREE OR TREES IN BLACK AND WHITE. I try mightily to feature only images that would be at home in a juried competition. No doubt that this image fits that bill. CONGRATULATIONS! And consider adding your image to DISCUSSIONS "Please post your featured photograph here" for greater, long-lasting visibility.
