A late winter snow storm greeted me when I was hiking to Tinker Falls in Upstate NY. The view of the falls was less than stellar with the snow fall, but looking downstream from the falls provided a nice view of the stream and a bench for viewing the falls. The sun came out for a few minutes which provide some nice side light. I ended up processing this as a high key image, which means its slightly overexposed and reduces shadows and contrast. I thought that this type of lighting just fit this scene perfectly.

Specializing in the scenic beauty of the Adirondack Mountains, Thousand Islands, Finger Lakes of New York State as well as the Central New York area, where I am from! When travelling, I will generally have my camera with me so that I can capture images from across the country with scenes such as cityscapes from Baton Rouge or Cleveland along the waterfront, to the Mountains of the Pacific Northwest!
